What we collect
Account details (username, email, date of birth, optional country), profile content, posts, comments, messages, marketplace listings, and technical data needed to run and secure the service (such as a hashed IP address for abuse prevention).
Why we use it
To provide the service, apply age-based safety rules, prevent abuse and fraud, send essential emails (verification, password reset, security) and improve reliability.
Date of birth and ID
Your date of birth is never shown publicly. If you submit an ID for age verification it is stored privately, seen only by authorized staff and deleted once the decision is recorded.
Messages
Private messages are not read by staff. They can be reviewed only through a documented legal or safety process.
Sharing and providers
We use service providers to operate Gtrade: Supabase (database), Cloudflare (image and file storage, and bot protection), Resend (transactional email) and, if you choose it, Google (sign-in). Each receives only what it needs for its function. We do not sell your personal data.
Cookies and local storage
We use a session cookie and a security (CSRF) cookie that are required to log in and protect your account. Your light/dark theme choice is saved in your browser. The bot-protection widget may set its own cookies. Optional analytics are disabled unless configured.
Your rights
You can edit your profile, export your data and delete your account from Settings. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights; contact us to use them.
Retention and contact
Deleted accounts are anonymized. Contact: privacy@gtrade.lat.
